The theme for this party is a vintage Fourth of July. The food includes an array of American favorites like hot dogs and caramel corn. Lisa and I wanted to have the decorations be DIY projects that anyone can make. We will be posting full photo tutorials for 6 of these projects on my blog and would love to share these with you as well.

Thank you so much for featuring this party I styled and crafted with Lia Griffith! It was a labor of love, but oh-so-worth-it. My own family celebrates the 4th of July at my parents’ house outside of Portland, OR each year by watching + participating in a classic small-town parade filled with homemade floats, vintage cars, kids on decorated bikes, and the 4-H club on horseback. Kids on floats throw candy into the crowd, we top off the day with a BBQ and fireworks, and it’s a perfect way to celebrate our country. We created this party to evoke that homemade, old-fashioned spirit. I hope this party inspires people to celebrate with their family and friends in style, too! :)
