super cute names and I love that they are all pink. Will keep these in the Signature Drink file for weddings & parties! How thoughtful of Mr. Cowie to give Ken his own beverage, as well! :)

I LOVE the color. This would make a great baby shower drink.

    Katrina,
I found this pretty photo of a purple haze ) but the ingredients are alcoholic. After reading the directions ), it got me thinking that you could take any non-alcoholic clear drink, add a drop or 2 of blue food coloring and a splash of grenadine (which is basically a sweet red syrup) until it turned a lovely light purple/lavender.
Another idea is to take a sparkling drink (as simple as 7-UP or another clear flavored carbonated beverage – there are LOTS available now!), add a splash of grape juice and a handful of blueberries like this: .
    Good luck!

    One more for Katrina!
Mix a lavender infused simple syrup (see recipe) and create a virgin mojito!
    photo:
    VIRGIN MOJITOS

    15 mint leaves
    1 teaspoon raw sugar
    1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce Lavender Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
    Ice
    4 ounces chilled ginger ale
    Splash of pomegranate

    Directions
    1. In a cocktail shaker or a tall glass, muddle the mint, sugar, lime juice, pomegranate and Simple Syrup. Add ice and shake well. Top with the ginger ale and/or seltzer, depending on your preference for taste and sweetness.

    LAVENDER SIMPLE SYRUP
    Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup water
    2 teaspoons organic lavender buds

    Directions
In a small saucepan, bring sugar, water and lavender to a boil. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved, 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, let cool completely, and strain out lavender buds.
