Beach Boys Birthday Party

When there’s an event planner celebrating her little one’s first birthday, you KNOW the party is going to be good! Case in point, check out this adorable Beach Boys Theme First Birthday Party that Jaime of LA-based Your Bash designed to celebrate her son’s first birthday with friends and family.

From the beach setting and  ridiculously cool Woody Cake (topped with a surfboard, of course!) to the fabulous giant balloons, LIVE music, toy instruments for the little ones to play, vintage woody photo backdrop, and much more, this party was definitely a top-notch, “Surfin USA” experience for guests… they even have the official VIP lanyards to prove it! *wink*

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Jaime

“As guests arrived, we had a “red carpet” entrance, which was setup by Venice Papparazi. All guests had their photos taken with their family, which were later put on a personalized key chain and given as the party favor. This was a fun way to give everyone a cute keepsake with their photo and the event logo and date on the back.

At the end of the carpet, and at the entrance to the party, we had an actual Woody parked on the sand… the true symbol of California Beach Style.

The decor was festive and bright with Hawaiian Print napkins, bunches of colorful balloons by Balloon Celebrations.

The food and beverage was a combination of fun beach themed food for both adults and children. An extra treat for the adults… a ‘Woody’ cocktail, which was a delicious blended vodka juice cocktail.

The entertainment was a a fabulous performance by Toddle Tunes with beach inspired music and lots of instruments for the kids to play.

The beautiful afternoon came to an end with a Woody Cake by Hansens Cakes. It was designed after the same Woody used on the invitation to tie it all together!

With Beach Boys tunes, great sunny weather and all of his family and friends around, Cole had the best 1st Birthday Party we could have hoped for… already looking forward to planning his party for next year!!”

This is so precious! Makes me want to take a trip to the beach… and I love the woody! (Or whatever they are called – that wood station wagon!) CLASSIC!

LoVe it! I’m actually working on a 60th Beach Boys Inspired Birthday Invitation right now! I’m printing a test invite and we’re sending it with a real Woody model! So FuN!

This is very cool! And as I am looking at the pics, it looks like you had a Beach Boy there. The man in the back of BeachBoys_11b (first family shot in front of the car) reminds me of Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys!

Those cars are delightful, ever last one of them, including the cake.

I was wondering if you could send me the recipe for the Woody Cocktails that you served at this party please?
