Gorgeous Vintage-Gothic Halloween Party
I just adore the wonderful Victorian flair that Suzanna from Mon Tresor incorporated into this beautiful Vintage-Gothic Halloween Party. The entire display looks fantastic, but the charming glass bottles adorned with black lace and bakers twine are definitely a stand-out! Wouldn’t these translate beautifully to a lingerie themed bridal shower or bachelorette party too?!
Also really loving the use of black & white houndstooth throughout the Anders Ruff printables… it’s a perfect compliment to the fabulous doily-inspired pattern on the dessert table backdrop!
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Suzanna…
“The color scheme I chose to use was black, orange and pale blue. A little bit of tradition mixed with a modern twist. The backdrop consisted of a black and white doily inspired material and I used a Victorian black oval frame as a focal point. The table cloth was a tiered pale blue ruffled table cloth.
The cake was a round coconut vanilla cake topped with 3 paper pinwheels which were handmade by me. Props on the dessert table included a crow and pumpkin to create that spooky all hallows eve feel.
The dessert table consisted of orange macaroons, Halloween cookies and cupcakes and candy in coordinating shades of pale blue, black and orange. (candy corn & M&M’s)
The table was covered with a shimmery black and silver Victorian cloth, and the vase of flowers were placed in the center. Drinking cups were adorned with creepy black spiders and there were two black chandeliers on the table too.
The drink dispenser was filled with fresh orange juice and served up in mini glass bottles that I wrapped with black lace and twine for a touch of elegance!”

Me like:)
This. is. stunning. Probably my favorite Halloween post so far. The blue just does it for me. Love the classy restraint used to really make the color, patterns and texture POP without being overdone. Beauty.
LOVE – where can i find large oval frames like that?
Hi Jenna –
I believe that frame is from IKEA. Either way, they sell one that looks exactly like it for around $20 :)
