From the clever record invitations to the party decor, this vibrant celebration was inspired by the favorite bands of the birthday boy’s mom & dad, then brought to life in a classic primary color palette that gave the theme a playful, childlike twist. PARTY DETAILS, as told by Júlia…

Luca was living abroad with his parents and was about to celebrate his first birthday! For the occasion mommy and daddy decided to come back to Brazil to celebrate with all their loved ones and contacted us from Spain to create something fun and original for his party. Luca’s mom wanted to have a rock&roll party, focusing on both the parents favorite bands and songs, that were special to them and they wanted to share with their baby. We just loved the idea and decided to do something more fun using basic and bright colors like red, yellow and blue besides the classic black. The music inspiration began with the invite, a cute imitation of an old LP record displaying the family’s favorite bands: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd on the cover. Inside was a printed LP record with the party information and tracks of songs that meant a lot to Luca’s parents.

For the decor, of course we used a lot of old records, music notes and tons of color. Isa Herzog always creates spectacular desserts but we loved the cookies decorated with the logos or known symbols connected with the four bands and the cake with the turned drum on the top! We had fun customizing LP covers and records, searching for great band pictures to use on each guest table and asking guests to leave some loving words to Luca on some little record shaped stationary.

Everyone fell in love with this simple, fun and really cute party and it was a tremendous success!
