PARTY DETAILS, as told by Cris…

I styled this butterfly party using the Butterfly Birthday Party Set by Amanda’s Parties to Go. I love butterflies and the color combination is so gorgeous!!

Dessert Table:

• I used my daughter’s white desk to display the desserts, I made flowers using paper fans and  added the Happy Birthday Banner from the Butterfly set to complete the backdrop.  I also added some paper lanterns and a green parasol to complete the look.
• The centerpiece was made from paper mache boxes covered with polka-dot scrapbook paper to match with the Butterfly Printable set. I added the letter “A” for Amelia on top of the centerpiece. I painted the letter pink and added pink glitter from Martha Stewart Glitter Collection. I added a topiary on each side of the centerpiece embellished with green and pink butterflies. I took advantaged of the huge printable set and added pink and green banner to the front of the desk as well as on the front of the side tables.
• The sweet treats include brownies wrapped on wax paper and embellished with cute butterfly labels from the set, the cutest butterfly/flowers cake pops from Astonishing Cake that matched with the Butterfly printable set, fruit cups, brigadeiro (Brazilian sweet), chocolate bars, chocolate kisses, lollipops and Butterfly Marshmallow pops by Maria’s Crafts. I used the butterfly cut outs from the set to make lollipops treats for the kids to take home.
• The girls also enjoyed some butterfly sandwiches, popcorn and some nectar (pink lemonade).
• The birthday girl wore the cutest outfit ever! Sweet Stuff Creations did an awesome job matching the outfit with the Butterfly printable! Just Gorgeous!

Table Settings:

• The table setting was a dreamy place for any butterfly! I used a flower trellis as a background embellished with paper flower and butterfly cut outs from the printable set to display the girls favor bags.
• I also hung pink and green paper lantern to add an extra pop of color.
• The center piece was made by using the Butterfly Icons/Cut outs also from the printable set, wooden utensils were wrapped in a pink napkin using the butterfly napkin wrapper.

Butterfly Party Favors:

• Each girl received a bucket filled with all butterfly things! They loved the Butterfly fan, butterfly tattoos, butterfly net and pencils with a handmade butterfly topper.
• Chocolate bars  and hershey’s kisses wrapped in butterfly stickers from the printable set added a sweet treat to their goodies.
• Each girl also received a custom fabric hand purse and a butterfly wing  for some butterfly fun!

Party Activities

• I found the cutest butterfly necklace kit on Oriental Trading site, super easy and fun for tiny hands! They also made butterfly had print to take home as a souvenir of the party.
