PARTY DETAILS as told by Fabienne…

Dylan’s school bus birthday party theme was inspired by my son’s love of cars and buses. I wanted to do something spectacular and truly original and make his birthday one of a kind by putting in personal touches and letting my imagination go wild. The theme came to life with DIY projects and crafts, from the framed chalkboard and party favors, to the homemade treats.

Dylan’s Sweets And Treats Table

• Mini homemade cupcakes, cake pops, school bus chocolate pops and brownie bites
• School bus sugar cookies with fondant
• 2 tiered school bus cake, inspired by Dylan’s birthday invitation
• Handmade party favors; made with brown paper bags, handmade gift tags using stamps, twine, printed personalized labels.
• Lemonade stand with mason jars and paper straws
• And of course, a separate make believe lemonade stand for the kids that also doubled as another coloring station

Kids Party Table

• Used coloring paper roll as the table runner, crayon sticker books and appropriately themed party hats for all the guests
• School bus play tents were ordered online to complete the theme and ensure the kids were entertained
• Cork board used to display more personalized touches such as; handprint, birthday invitation, before and after photos
• Personalized greeting banner
• And of course… the birthday boy himself, matching the theme :)
