Emily of A Silver Nutmeg takes us “Up, Up & Away!” with this charming Hot Air Balloon Dessert Table for a sweet baby boy shower. Her creativity soared with lovely details like pastel treats displayed in dainty dishes and a fabulous DIY hot air balloon centerpiece. This theme would be adorable for welcoming a little girl too. ;)
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
- SUPER creative hot air “balloon” centerpiece made from string, ribbon & a paper straw!
- Frosted sugar cookie party favors that matched the {fabulous} printables
- Delicate sprinkle cake pops embellished with ribbons
- Pretty french macarons, hot air balloon lollipops & blueberry tarts
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Emily…
Inspired by the AndersRuff Hot Air Balloon printables, I created a dessert table for a sweet little Baby Shower. Treats included french macarons, gluten free chocolate cake pops, vanilla bean cupcakes, blueberry tarts and sugar cookies designed from the AndersRuff collection. Additionally, I did popcorn in mini brown treat bags with the AndersRuff design on the front. I used milk glass primarily for the cake stands/bowls because I love the look with the soft pastels! Mason jars were used for beverages with paper straws from The TomKat Studio and flags from AndersRuff. Individually wrapped sugar cookies were given as favors to the guests which was a perfect finishing touch.

- Event Styling: A Silver Nutmeg
- Printables, Sugar Cookies & Drink Flags: Anders Ruff
- Paper Straws: The TomKat Studio
