I’m totally smitten with the contemporary-meets-tropical vibe of this “Paris in the Pacific” wedding! {via Pacific Weddings}

From the color palette and fabulous presentation of the drinks & desserts to the dazzling tropical setting and creative floral details, this is Maui-based wedding makes for some serious eye candy!

As a side note, this buffet is actually a great example of how you can utilize a modern minimalist look to create an attractive dessert buffet for your parties without overdoing it on the amount of treatsmaking things easier on your budget. (See the note at the bottom of the post for more info on this.)

And how’s this for a dream atmosphere/setting?!…

And last but not least, creative invitations and party favors “inspired by the equestrian heritage of Hermès” add another unique element to the mix…

*Candy & dessert buffets are always impressive , but the cost of the candy in bulk amounts or professional pastries & treats can really add up – and quick!

Good news though: you can actually tailor inexpensive grocery store or homemade treats to any party color palette using affordable elements like colored candy melts, frosting, and decorative papers & tags. (Click here for more info & an example of this concept.)

    the orange color palette is just stunning – the way they interpreted it into the dessert bar, tablescape, stationery, etc is just beautiful!
