Cupcake Baking & American Girl Doll Birthday Party
Grab your wooden spoons and get ready for a sprinkle of sweetness and a dash of fun! Michelle Samardzija of Mad Momma Events & Styling cooked up this Cupcake Baking & American Girl Doll Birthday Party for the cutest little birthday girl and friends! I am loving all of the cupcake liner decor. Plus, doesn’t it sound so fun to bake up a big batch of cupcakes with your friends, decorate however you choose and then take some home to enjoy later? Clearly, Michelle and I are on the same page! ;)
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
- Cupcake liner topiary centerpiece + cupcake liner ‘flowers’ with chocolate candy centers
- Monogrammed milk bottles topped with cookies & a white ruffle birthday cake + fruit & marshmallow skewers
- DIYed pom topped felt & sequin cupcake party hats for the American Girl Dolls & chef’s hats for the guests
- Personalized pink aprons, pink cupcake lip glosses & wooden spoon party favors
PARTY DETAILS as told by Michelle…
This “sweet” birthday really was a dream come true! Wildflour Bakery in Valparaiso was filled with giggles and total yumminess all around. Each girl was greeted with her own embroidered apron to wear while baking, and each doll was greeted with their very own party hat. The girls took great care of their little guests and toted them around with pride. From custom water bottle labels and personalized milk jugs, no detail was too small.
After washing our hands, Abby Leetz of Wildflour gave us a hands-on lesson in cupcake baking! Who knew you can use an ice cream scooper to fill your cupcake liners? After lots of mixing and finger licking, the girls snacked on cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, “shoot for the stars” PB & J’s, fruit kabobs and more!
After snacking, our cupcakes were ready to decorate! Each girl had her own piping bag and plenty of sprinkles. Everyone took her very own cupcakes home in a take-out box, as well as a wooden spoon and the knowledge of how to make the perfect cupcake!
