pink princess party dessert table and birthday crowns

Paige from Paiges of Style definitely whipped up some royal party magic with this “PRETTY IN PINK” PRINCESS BIRTHDAY PARTY that she designed for a friend’s daughter! And with stylish details like shimmery mercury glass filled with fluffy pink peonies, a fabulous {homemade} pink ruffle dessert table backdrop, and a downright gorgeous pink ombre ruffle cake, this is one “royal affair” that should appeal to birthday princesses of all ages!

I also love how the custom princess themed party printables that Paige designed manage to be super cute without being “cutesy”, while glitzy details like playful metallic trims (as seen around the milk bottles & DIY birthday hat), a sparkly rhinestone-bedecked “birthday crown”, and shimmery gold fondant princess crowns added a fun pop of “glam” to the party.

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Paige…

I recently designed this pretty in pink princess party for my friend/assistant Melena’s darling four year old daughter Sophia. Sophia is 4 going on 14 and had VERY specific ideas about what she wanted at her party. It had to be ALL pink and very girly. We decided to go with an ombre of pinks and add black and gold to glam it up a bit, without being tacky of course.

For this party, we focused mostly on the gorgeous dessert table. An ombre ruffle backdrop set the stage for the sweet treats and my daughter’s pale pink sheets were the tablecloth. The star of the dessert table was the stunning cake made by Stevi of Hey There, Cupcake!. She mimicked our range of pinks and added the daintiest crown and wands and gorgeous flowers. Stevi also made an ombre range of pink flowers and gold wands to adorn the cupcakes. The incredible ruffle cake pops were made by my go-to cake pop gal Kris of KCreative. The details of the tiny ruffles were breathtaking. We also had gorgeous crown cookies and macarons in the loveliest shades of pink created by Baked. All of the princesses in attendance got to sip on strawberry milk (even the milk had to be pink!) along with juice and water. Lovely pink peonies, a handmade crown made from chicken wire and some beautiful pink glassware added the vintage and luxe vibe.

Even more important for the lovely little girls was a surprise visit by Cinderella and the autograph that I know my girl still cherishes (even a couple months later!)
