This Dino-Mite Birthday Party looks like RAWR-ing good fun! ;) Jeannie Do brought Dinosaurs back to life with this awesome, activity-packed party. While snacking on some delicious, omnivorous food, guests were able to create some dino art, sing and dance along with a musical duo and play with the coolest reptiles! Those snakes are too freaky for me, but you can tell the birthday boy is loving it!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Wooden (party hat wearing!) dinosaur skeleton centerpieces + dinosaur tail chair backs
  • Dino cookie decorated birthday cake, dino topped cupcakes & erupting volcano punch
  • “Say Rawr” photo booth with felt dinosaur masks & snapping dinosaurs on sticks

PARTY DETAILS as told by Jeannie

To say my son loved his 3rd birthday party is an understatement! He and his guests had a RAWR-ing good time! Balloons covered the ceilings of this dino themed party. Kids had their own little tables to sit at with handmade party hats and wooden dinosaurs marching down the center of the table. Each chair even had it’s own dinotail!

The dessert table had a 2 tier cake which we decorated with cookies purchased from etsy. There were also cupcakes with dinosaur candle toppers and volcano punch.

Favor bags were inspired by another dinosaur party featured on HWTM. A dino craft table with wooden dinos was a hit with the kids.

The highlight of the party was a reptile show where the birthday boy was the special helper and got to hold all of the reptiles. He loved it!

Thanks Luz! Dino tails were from Target but they don't sell them anymore. They were $3 each and later went on clearance for $1.50 each…a steal! Some Etsy vendors make them too.

where did you find the party hats?

    • Jeannie July 28, 2014 at 11:20 am

I bought the party hats from target and covered them with my own scrapbooking paper using glue and also glued pom poms purchased from Michaels.

How did you make the hats for the wooden Dino’s? Also where did you get them? So cute!

  10. Jeannie July 28, 2014 at 11:21 am

I made the dino party hats by hand using scrapbook paper, mini pom poms, elastic cording, glue gun. I printed a free party hat template online and just made it really small to fit the dino. All can be found at Michaels, Joann or Hobby Lobby.
