DIY Tutorial - Magic Carpet Party Decorations

When I was little, Aladdin was my absolute favorite movie… honestly, I still really love it! I was always enamored with the idea of flying around that magic diamond sky, so naturally I was super excited to make our very own DIY Magic Carpets for our Disney Princess Birthday Party! Plus, we thought it was high time Jasmine got her own prettier, sparklier magic carpet! ;) Read below for the easy instructions.

Awesome! Can you tell me what was used for the genie lamps?

Hi Becks – I’m so sorry that I didn’t see your question earlier! The “genie lamps” are actually inexpensive tea pots from HomeGoods that I spray painted gold. :)

    Greetings,
This Magic Carpet is exactly what I’ve been looking for -for a centerpiece for a Gala Fundraiser. Arabian is 1 of 8 country styles that will be used in our International themed gala event. Is there somehow a way that I could order these made for me? The darker background with those colors shown here would be perfect. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank You.

Hi Susan – So glad you like the design! Unfortunately this isn’t the type of service we offer ourselves, though. Best of luck with your event!
