PARTY DETAILS, as told by Alexis

My daughter Ayva turned 3 recently and as she is obsessed with ballerina Dora, a pink Dora party was a must! I didn’t want the traditional bright multi-coloured Dora the Explorer party so I stuck to pink (her favorite color of course!) and added in some turquoise here and there. We had a dessert table with the birthday cake, panna cotta, macarons, fairy floss, swizzle sticks and other candy for the children to take home. Pink lemonade, popcorn and jelly were some more snacks on the drinks table. I also had an ice cream bar as it turned out to be a very hot day!

The lovely ombre ruffle cake was made by Vanilla Lily Cake Design and was a white chocolate mud cake with strawberries. Macarons were made by Trish at Marche Du Macaron and the ombre panna cotta I made myself. Raspberry Lime Paperie made the name banner, thank you tags, invitations and more.
