PARTY DETAILS, as told by Garrett…

In just 9 days, we took a beautiful private dining room at Salt Lake City’s Bambara Restaurant located in the Hotel Monaco, from beautiful to glamorous. Our client Hailey, an avid hostess and party planning guru, wanted to celebrate her 30th birthday not just in style, but in glitz and glamour as well.

With a bold color palette of black, burgundy and gold, we kept the overall styling of the party sexy, edgy, modern and fresh. Black sequin linens, luxurious burgundy lamour napkins , and gold-glittered laser cut name cards all added to the glamorous appeal. Finishing off the 25-foot long table were 3 large centerpieces, with successive mono-floral arrangements repeated down the center.

Hailey wanted more than to offer her guests a cute favor. Rather, she gave a “his” and “her” gift complete with a handwritten note to each guest, personally thanking them for their friendship and love. For her lovely ladies, a gold “Love” pendant and necklace from local jewelry designer Katie Waltman Jewelry couldn’t have expressed her feelings that night any better. And for the gents, a box of her favorite Chocolatier Blue chocolates flown in from San Francisco with flavors hand selected by Hailey herself. Both gifts were packaged in a black-glittered box with a magnetic snap with gold and silver embellishments and a laser-cut “xoxo, hailey” tag.

Now every birthday party requires a birthday cake – but an ordinary cake just wouldn’t do for this party. So what could be better than a gold leaf metallic cake from One Sweet Slice?

And lastly, but certainly not least, the room needed a finishing touch. So what better way to announce who this glamorous birthday party was for, than to put Hailey’s name in gold, glittery lights. And just as expected, when Hailey arrived at her party, she did just that – light up the room!
