PARTY DETAILS, as told by Lauren

We’re all FIRED up and happy as can be! Ryland is turning three!

Julie is one of those clients every designer likes to have. She has such a knack for party planning and knows how to pull it all together. I was so excited when she told me they wanted to do a fireman party. Red, black and gray set the color scheme for the party and I designed a vintage firetruck to incorporate in all the printables.

The party took place at a local park and she transformed the pavilion into everything fireman. Lunch was set up for all the kids in brown boxes labeled with “fireman feast” and personalized coloring sheets provided a little activity while they sat. And everyone had their “fire extinguisher” (water bottle) to wash it all down. She had plenty of sweets and treats for everone to enjoy… firetruck wheels (oreo pops), marshmallow flames (marshmallow pops), fireman hoses (twizzlers) and the cutest cupcakes with fondant toppers from Abrosia Bakery.

She spray painted coke boxes to make the buildings with red and orange tissue paper coming out the top for the perfect flames.

The party was complete when a few local firefighters pulled up the fire truck. The kids LOVED every minute of it!! They were able to wear a hat and suit and even sit in the front seat of the truck.

All the guests went home with a bag full of red candy and a firetruck cookie cutter.
