Grilled BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza Tutorial

Have you ever tried grilling flatbread directly on the BBQ? There’s something so great about seeing those beautiful grill marks on the bread…especially when you’ve made them yourself!

Another fun idea is to set up a little “Flatbread Social” station with all sorts of fresh toppings, then let your dinner guests create their own personal-sized flatbread pizzas using their favorite toppings.

Inspired by this concept, I designed some Farmer’s Market Inspired Party Printables to go along with it! Check them out below, along with easy coordinating DIY party ideas like:

  • cut burlap “placemats”
  • kraft bag utensil holders
  • and a quick & easy veggie centerpiece that packs a very HEALTHY dose of color. 😉

Note/Update: A while back, I worked on some recipe videos for Krusteaz® that featured their new flatbread mixes, and this post originally included one of them – for a Grilled Chicken Flatbread Pizza (pictured above). Unfortunately, Krusteaz no longer makes those mixes, so all of that content is gone. I still love the party ideas and printables that we designed to go along with it though, and wanted to keep them here for you!

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at the video. Can you tell that it was nearly 100 degrees outside when we shot it? Felt like we almost didn’t need the grill. ;)

I had never realized I could make my own flatbread…and grilled with bbq chicken sounds just like my favorite pizza (with a lot less grease)! And the printables are so cute, too!

Well the BBQ weather is nearly here, the trouble is im a veggie. And the thing with that is its very limited on the types of food people cook outside. Generally what people tend to do for me is get veggie burgers or bean burgers. well you might as well eat cardboard.
I wish people could use there imagination on a nice salad with oil and spices.that all the veggie person will love.
