PARTY DETAILS, as told by Rachel

This 3rd birthday party was monstrously-fun to style! Our “little monster” birthday boy is energetic and happy so our monsters had to be too! From the bright and happy monster decorations to the coloring wall–it certainly was a party tailored for toddlers that was cheerful and fun!

Kiddos snacked on one-eyed monster cruffle pops, bright sprinkled chocolate covered pretzels, cupcakes and a three-tiered cake by Got What It Cakes–specially customized in the party’s theme and adorned with fondant monsters.  The birthday boy ate his confections on a custom printed plate by RV Parties in the monster party pattern.

Coordinating fabric was printed in the party design and used to make a number “3” birthday shirt and runners for the tables.  Monster silhouettes popped up throughout the party–as confetti on the table, framed pictures on the wall and garland in the doorways.  Googly eyes were a quick and easy way to bring additional elements into the party theme – and they’re so fun, who could resist putting them on everything!?

Our favorite part was the large-scale wall decor.  The backdrop for the dessert table was a 3’x4′ vinyl banner which now decorates the birthday boy’s room!  All the little monsters loved grabbing washable crayons from the coloring table to doodle on the coloring walls.

Favors included monsters knitted with hand dyed yarn, gumballs and a jar of coordinating jelly beans–as well as a family picture in the monster photo booth. And we loved the other elements brightening the favor table-a yarn wrapped H and a cute monster gumball machine!

Thank you for featuring this party!!! I'm the girl behind Got What It Cakes and it's always a thrill to be on HWTM! Jenn, Rachel and I had a blast setting it up and watching all of the little monsters enjoy the hard work!

Where did you find that large color page/pages with the monsters? I am having a monster birthday next weekend and would love to have that!
