I am in LOVE with the look of this Fresh & Gorgeous Garden Party Bridal Shower styled by the incredibly talented Kristi Murphy, whose site is seriously amazing and if you haven’t already checked out her beautiful designs & super creative DIYs, you are totally missing out. Anyways, what I love about this party look is how uncluttered everything is. Sometimes it can be a little too easy to go overboard when trying to fill empty spaces, but Kristi finds the perfect balance every time! Filing this one away for future inspiration ;).

This garden party bridal shower is full of fresh organic ideas with pops of color! My sister is getting married in July, so I am throwing her a bridal shower in a couple of weeks to celebrate! Here is a sneak peek of my set up for the party.

So my inspiration for the shoot were these gorgeous bridal shower invitations — I went with a garden party theme simply because it was the perfect theme for them! I designed some cupcake toppers and a “Bride!” banner to match the invites, which you can download over on my site!

I couldn’t stop at the dessert table. I did a brunch table setting to match. I picked up those yellow shimmer gum balls at Target in the new color-coordinated party section. Have you all seen that? It’s like heaven right inside that cute little aisle.

The brightly colored macarons are like little bits of sunshine. I picked them up from Essence Bakery here in Tempe, AZ. I love naked cakes, especially when they are topped with a heaping bouquet of flowers! I can’t get enough of meringues. To make these, I bought white meringues at Trader Joe’s and topped them with little bits of colored frosting.

I adorned each guest’s place setting with custom photo coasters from Shutterfly. I really, really love this idea. It makes the table more personal, and photos are great conversation starters. The gold stripey straws are always a nice touch too. I also used the shower invitations as decor for the tables. I set them in chrome place card holders I found at Michael’s that I spray painted gold. Super simple DIY!

Since there were so many florals going on in the table setting already, I used a really simple green centerpiece I got at Hobby Lobby. The bag, pitcher, and floral decals from the Oh Joy Target Collection added gorgeous details to the party.

I also designed a pillow on Shutterfly to match the invitations. A cute idea is to have this pillow at the bride’s chair. It looks great with the decor, and it makes a great keepsake for the bride! You can download the design on my site for free to make one of your own.

I also painted some chargers to match the invites. This might be one of my favorite things I have done so far. They are so pretty! Check out the full tutorial here!

I created the canvas print on Shutterfly for the backdrop. I used the “Photo Gallery
Canvas Print” and uploaded one of my sister’s engagement photos. I did the 24 x 36, and it’s breathtaking! This makes a great gift for the bride and everyone can pitch in on this one.
