Glitz Spritzer Cocktail Party! {Recipe + Free Printables!}
If you’ve seen some of the parties I’ve styled before, it’s probably no surprise that I love a little sparkle, a dash of citrus, and a great signature drink! So when BACARDI® Mixers offered to have their mixologists create a personalized signature drink for me recently, how could I not accept, right!? ;)
They sent over some questions regarding taste and party style, and said they’d develop the drink recipe based on my answers. I really didn’t know what to expect at that point, but ended up LOVING the drink recipe they sent over, right down to it’s name: the “Glitz Spritzer“! It’s fruity, refreshing, and easy to whip up for a crowd.
Pink & Gold Cocktail Party
Now it was my turn to do the creating, so I dreamed up a playful little after-work cocktail party for the girls at HWTM, designed to match this fun new signature drink from BACARDI® Mixers! Inspired by the bright pink hue, fruit flavors and sparkling bubbles in the recipe, I decided to go for a look that was glitzy & pink with a citrus splash… perfect for a everything from a girlie birthday celebration to a casual summer get-together with friends. Glitz Spritzers with festive drink flags, a few pieces of sparkly decor, and simple appetizers were all that I needed for this fun & easy party. I’m already planning to use this theme again for a party next month!

where did you get the muddlers from?
Hi Shea! Bacardi Mixers actually sent them to us, but you can find tons of different styles here: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=bar+muddler&tag=mh0b-20&index=aps&hvadid=1691716300&ref=pd_sl_hrf5qvej4_b!
Hi. I’m looking for silver glitter paint (like the gold one used). What would you recommend?
I actually used mod podge + craft glitter for the lemons and vases, and spray adhesive + glitter was used for the box. Haven’t tried glittered paint myself, but using real glitter + adhesive definitely gives you lots of sparkle! :)
Hi Jennifer! Where did you find the gold striped straws? Very cute party:)
Thanks Vicky! We got them from this Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleInkNZ (we also used them in our Pottery Barn Kids Ice Cream Birthday here: https://www.hwtm.com/2013/04/ice-cream-shoppe-birthday-party-ideas/ and Royal Baby Shower here: https://www.hwtm.com/2013/04/pink-glitter-gold-royal-baby-shower/ if you want to see it used two other ways ;)
Everything looks so beautiful.I don’t drink but I understand you can make incredible drinks without the alcohol.Using still the frozen Bacardi mixes ,I believe I could find some wonderful recipes.Beautiful party!
Gorgeous drinks! I’m going to plan a girls night in around this theme. We’ll put on a movie for the kids and enjoy some Bacardi libations/
Hi I would love to do this for my Moms Night In.. Everything looks Gorg! Could you please advise about how many servings does the cocktail recipe make?
Hi Lena –
Glad you like! :) The cocktail recipe makes about 12 7-oz servings. Enjoy!
LOVE ALL THE DECORATIONS, WHERE DID U GET THE BOXES FOR THE CENTERPIECES?
Thank you! We actually made the centerpiece boxes by covering unfinished wooden boxes in gold glitter :) You could also accomplish this with sturdy shoe boxes, but here’s a link to the wooden ones we used:
(As a DIY side note – I’ve found that the easiest way to cover something in glitter is with spray adhesive.)
Hope this helps! :)
