Glam Winter Table + Cool Silver Succulents
I’m such a fan of the cool “Rustic-Meets-Modern” style of Carissa from JL Designs… just check out this amazing winter table she recently styled for a beautiful holiday party coordinated by Jennifer Renee! Although this table was originally created for a holiday party, it’s also full of fantastic (and DIY-friendly) inspiration for New Year’s Eve, winter weddings, and even chic winter bridal or baby showers.
In addition to that {simply fabulous!} chainlink fabric table runner, I’m also loving the silver spray painted succulents, sparkly beaded napkin rings, white grapewood branches (also spray painted), and fluffy white floral arrangements embellished with dusty miller foliage for a festive, wintery vibe.
Read on for lots more gorgeous images + party details, as told by Carissa…
“I found the gray & white chain link patterned fabric in the garment district in downtown LA. The silver “flowers” are actually succulents that I spray painted silver! Great diy idea for new years! I did something similar in gold for this Martha Stewart photo shoot – it’s super cheap & easy and adds that instant touch of glam to a party! I also spray painted grapewood branches white and accented them w/ the silver succulents.
The rest of the florals consisted of:
- {white} hydrangea,
- ranunculas,
- reflexed roses,
- tulips – accented with gray dusty miller foliage and kochia.
Every napkin was wrapped in crystal beaded trim and adorned with a silver mini succulent. The glass cylinders held faux white snow and a pillar candle. I used white candlesticks with mercury glass votives on top.
I also added silver beaded trim to the wood boxes and mod white ceramic vases in order to add some glitz to the tablescape!”

The runner blends SEAMLESSLY! I love it! (finger snap)
That dog… OMG!I love the silver succulents. It’s so cool! And it really looks beautiful with the white objects. I wonder what the manzanilla branches would look like natural…hmmm.
So Gorgous! I LOVE the lattice runner, mercury votives, & the unexpected cute pooch in the picture roll :). But out of all I must say that I ESP love the dusty miller used with the other flowers. Aside from my landscape I never thought to ever use it this way.
Oh this is sooo stunning. I LOVE the little french bulldog!
Beautiful! I just love that table runner!
I just love that table runner!
I loved this! However, I have one question… The faux snow in the glass cylinders with the candles- Would that be a fire hazard?
I would love to recreate this look, but afraid of a fire going off on the table! Suggestions?
Hi Daisy! Here’s what Carissa said regarding your question:
“it shouldn’t be a problem as long as the candle is high enough above the faux snow…if you let it burn too low, then there will be issues ;)”
Oh my gosh I love this! Totally the perfect inspiration for a wedding! Thanks for sharing
So great! Love the arrangements! Stunning!
Where can I find those runners!!??
Bunch of weirdos, plant killers.
