As owner of Distinct Event Planning Lucretia started dreaming up her own shower, while her besties rounded out all the pretty-in-pink details. PARTY DETAILS, as told by Distinct Event Planning…

The best friends of Lucretia planned the perfect baby shower for her newest arrival, Baby Belle. As a professional event planner and owner of Distinct Event Planning, this mom-to-be was given permission by her friends to design her own shower but took a back seat to all of the planning details. As soon as she knew that her and her husband, Chris was expecting a baby girl – the Tiaras & Tutus theme was born! Pink is Lucretia’s favorite color so it was fitting to color coordinate her shower with pink and for fun they added yellow, white and silver. They requested her guests to wear all white attire with a pop of pink or yellow. Her best friends wanted to stand out and wore black tutus which complimented the shower attire perfectly.

Alternative Hitches designed custom invitations with the Tiaras & Tutus theme which set the tone for the shower. They added crystal rhinestones and tulle to the tutu for a gorgeous three-dimensional look. They also designed beautiful menu cards, mom-to-be advice cards and thank you cards. SHE Design Co. created a 2-layer card box with lots of bling detail and a tutu skirt. They also created stunning floral centerpieces customized with rhinestone tiaras, fluffy tutu and baby bottles. Distinct Event Planning coordinated the theme with silver Chiavari chairs with white tutu chair covers and pink ribbons, pink charger plates and yellow napkins with crystal tiara napkin rings. Encore Sweetery made delightful white chocolate covered pretzel sticks drizzled with yellow and pink chocolate. TG Patty Cakes designed a beautiful cake with a baby bum topper and a pink tutu skirt. They also made yummy cupcakes topped with crystal tiaras.

As a surprise to Lucretia, her best friends hired a professional ballerina whose graceful performance brought tears of joy to Lucretia’s eyes. The guests enjoyed fun and unique baby games, dined on delicious food and wished Lucretia so much love! All of this was the perfect combination for a baby shower befitting for the little princess to come.
