cutest ballerina ever

I’m so excited to share this AMAZING Pink & Gold Ballerina Birthday Party with you today! My {very talented} friend Paige of Paiges of Style dreamed up this sparkly little soirée for her daughter Charley + 5 of her closest friends… and I’m pretty sure it’s going to make girls of ALL ages want to spin & twirl!

And as lovely as all of the ballet inspired details are, wanna know the best thing about this party? The activities! A ballerina taught lessons in “Charley’s Ballet Studio” (which is actually a transformed guest room in Paige’s house), while the moms enjoyed some downtime, chatting and sipping pink champagne! Scroll down to check out all the glittery details, as beautifully captured by Hailey Faria Photography

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Glittery gold fondant bows on the cupcakes + amazing ballet dancer cookies
  • Metallic macaron towers (made with edible shimmer + Trader Joe’s macarons)
  • “Prima Ballerina” birthday girl chair, “big girl” china, gold heart boxes & tulle tableskirt
  • Ballet slipper cake pops + gorgeous ballerina cake topped with a big glittery “4”
  • Little pink tutus, DIY gold lace crowns, and a confetti filled ballet studio!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Paige

Our sweet Charley is all girl. She loves all things pink, sparkly, ruffly and gold. She also happens to be a lovely little ballerina. So, when we started planning her 4th birthday party, I knew it had to be centered on her love of ballet and pink.

In contrast to our previous parties, I knew I wanted to have a sweet and intimate affair so we kept the party small with only 6 girls total so Charley could spend time with each of her best friends. The party consisted of a ballet lesson, a lovely lunch and lots of sugar.

We transformed our guest room into “Charley’s Ballet Studio” and installed a ballet barre using this tutorial. Each girl was given a tutu (Alwaysunderpay.com) and a handmade gold crown that Charley helped to make, she added the glitter!

The girls were given a lesson by a local professional ballerina while the moms sipped on pink champagne and chatted away.

Afterwards, the girls enjoyed their lunch and sat at their very own special table. Of course, the birthday girl sat in her very special “prima ballerina” chair. The girls loved drinking pink lemonade from their gold striped straws and getting to use beautiful “big girl” china from Pow Wow Vintage Rentals.

Afterwards, they dug into the gorgeous array of desserts, leaving behind their dainty ballerina behavior :)
