This super easy treat display was also part of our Spells & Potions table, but you could really use this idea on its own as well (especially if you don’t feel like displaying jars of Zombie Brains and Snake Venom along with it!).

My goal was to create something cute-but-quick-&-easy that utilized store bought treats to keep the process simple and the kitchen mess minimal. Sooo… Marshmallow-Ghost-Peeps-on-a-stick it is! I supplemented the ghosts with store-bought white meringue cookies – which were also “skewered” and held together with a dab of vanilla frosting.

The treats are displayed in a wooden box filled with styrofoam & covered in moss. I also draped a little bit of the extra “table runner” (a $3 tattered Halloween door covering from Michaels). My favorite detail has to be the “skeleton arm” reaching out from the center though – which is actually one half of a plastic salad server set picked up at Target for $5/set! The opposite arm can be found reaching into the “Eye of Newt” jar on the other side of the table.

And then for the finishing touch, I designed 2 decorative labels – one for the front of the box that reads “The Graveyard / Hauntingly Delicious Treats from the Ground Up“, and then a smaller “Sweet Spirits & Ghostly Treats” banner for the salad server/skeleton hand to hold. =)
