Mardi Gras recipes

Can’t make it out to the French Quarter tonight? You can still celebrate the final Mardi Gras fling (a.k.a. “Fat Tuesday”) in the comfort of your own home – sans the crowds and “impromptu entertainment” they often bring! BHG has some fantastic ideas in their “Mardi Gras Recipes” gallery. Here are a few favorites:

For seafood lovers {above, clockwise from top left}: Creole Crab Cakes, Shrimp and Crab Gumbo, Cajun Fish Soup, and Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya.

Chicken or beef more your style? How about one of these flavorful dishes instead (below, clockwise from top left}: Mile-High Muffuletta-Style Sandwich, Cajun Pot Roast with Maque Choux, Cajun Chicken Lasagna, and Chicken and Sausage Gumbo.
