I love this idea of a community craft party! Mia Novack of Platinum Events & Productions held a “Heart of the Community” Etsy Craft Party honoring the local L.A. Fireman from Department Station 27. Decorating picture frames, painting and finishing off a group collage looks like a fun day for everyone! :)

Etsy Heart of the Community Craft Party- Los Angeles, CA

We are so excited to have hosted the Los Angeles Etsy “Heart of the Community” Craft Party honoring our community heroes, Los Angeles Fire Department Station 27. Local artist, Hayley Taylor of Esprit Royale, painted and designed a mixed media “Heart of the Community” Collage. Community members collaboratively participated in the collage crafting, making this art piece personal for our community heroes. Adults and children enjoyed designing Etsy inspired merit badges and heart frames. The firefighters enjoyed crafting with the children and other members of the Los Angeles community, and they were so kind to give the children present at the event a tour of their firetruck. The community collage made at the Etsy “Heart of the Community” Craft Party will be presented to the firefighters at LAFD Station 27 on August 15th and displayed in the newly refurbished Camille DesJardins training room. Thank you to Etsy for giving us the opportunity to host this fabulous community event in honor of our community heroes.
