Here Comes Santa Claus Christmas Party

This super festive and oh-so-CLEVER holiday dessert table was inspired by the popular kids Christmas carol “Here Comes Santa Claus and dreamed up by Jennifer from Parents Playground NWA, who wanted party guests to be able to “SING their way down the dessert table“. How FUN is that?!

And from adorable “Children Singingcake pops to a sweet “Santa Claus Lane” fashioned from peppermint candies and lollipop trees, Jennifer definitely brought this Christmas carol to life in the most DELICIOUS way possible! This is my kind of “music”! ;)

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Jennifer

Theme:

The popular children’s Christmas carol, “Here Comes Santa Claus”.

I wanted the guests to sing their way down the dessert table. In addition to the dessert table, I had a kids table set with mini Christmas trees for them to decorate, that also served as place holders (name on printable tree skirt).  Each child also received a lollipop reindeer and an elf cup.

  • Here Comes Santa Claus, Here Comes Santa Claus: Painting by a local handmade artist, Stelliana
  • Right down Santa Claus Lane: I created a lane out of peppermints and a printable sign from Parents Playground NWA. To decorate Santa lane, I used Christmas gift petit fours from Bizzy B’s Bakery and Christmas tree lollipops from Target.
  • Vixen, Blitzen, & All His Reindeer: Reindeer Sugar Cookies by Shannon Miller
  • Bells Are Ringing: Printable sign on serving piece that held fudge covered oreos drizzled in red chocolate by Parents Playground NWA
  • Children Singing: Kids Caroling Cake Pops by Shannon Miller
  • All is Merry & Bright: Printable Sign on serving piece that held Christmas tree brownies by Parents Playground NWA
  • Hang Your Stockings: Mini sequin stockings from Target
  • And, Say Your Prayers Because Santa Claus Is Coming Tonight: Frappachino bottles with a Milk for Santa label by Parents Playground NWA and red striped paper straws with cookies hanging from them by Bizzy B’s Bakery.

I also had mini parfait cups layered with cake, frosting, and sprinkles as well as a vase of snowmen marshmallow pops from Wal-Mart.”
