It’s “Ghoul’s Night”! {Pink & Black Halloween}
Feel like doing something fun to celebrate Halloween with your girls this weekend? Here are a few pink-and-black-and-girlie-all-over “Ghoul’s Night” ideas that are surprisingly simple and easy to pull together! Even though I took these pics a few years back, this concept is still one of my favorites when it comes to nontraditional Halloween…
SKULL DRINK CHARMS
Just add hot pink rhinestones to one of the eye sockets on thoses cheap plastic skull rings you can buy in bulk at party stores. These have kind of a fun girlie-skull-pirate look, which just might have to inspire an entire party theme of its own next year!
GHOULIE-GLAM WINE BOTTLES
Cover wine bottles in decorative paper and rhinestones with a Halloween motif. The skull & crossbone stickers pictured here were ready-made, so all I had to do was peel, stick, then pour!
GLITZY SKULLS & PUMPKINS
Paint decorative skulls and pumpkins shiny metallic silver, hot pink, or spidery black. (I used acrylic craft paint back when these were done a few years ago, but have since learned that spray-paint can usually get the job done quicker.) Dress up the skulls with inexpensive false eyelashes or glittery costume lashes. Add sparkle by dusting with glitter while the paint is still wet.
SCRAPBOOK PAPER = Scary-Easy Decor
Use Halloween-print papers as makeshift placemats, tablerunners, or napkin rings (just cut them into 1.5″ strips).

I’m going to miss your blog. :( The pictures no longer show up on my feed, and you have pop-up/hover ads on your site.
Hi Beth –
That makes me sad! I noticed the posts that are the new “photo gallery style” are missing the images in the feed and our programmer is trying to fix that, but the images on the regular-style posts (Mummy Veggie Dip, Victorian Halloween 1 & 2, etc) should still show up in the feed – are you not seeing those ones either? Our advertising is sold through a 3rd party – I’ll ask them what’s going on with the pop-ups!
I used the scull wine charms for my Ghoul’s night this year and linked it back to you. Thanks for the great ideas, everyone loved it and I told them your website has so many wonderful ideas.

My comment disappeared, boo! So back to say again, obsessed with the glittered skulls with lashes, love it!
Courtney I agree those glittered skulls with lashes are so cute (and funny lol!). Thank you for all of the ideas – I especially love the usage of the scrapbooking paper for a table runner idea … how simple, chic, and sweet is that?
