PARTY DETAILS, as told by Shannon…

“I was able to get involved with a 40th Birthday Party for my friend Jack. The concept started because he loved  “Jack Daniel’s”. Since his name was Jack, using the Jack Daniel’s label couldn’t have worked out any better for the invitation. And was a great jumping off point for the rest of the party.  I started by creating an inspiration board with the color and concepts for the party. The colors for the party were black and a rusty bronze.

I wanted to incorporate vintage black and white photography for the backdrop for the dessert table and photo table. I found a some great vintage posters. From men making moonshine to old whiskey barrels. I also used for decor around the space Jack Daniel’s liquor bottles. And as many Jack Daniels boxes I could get my hands on, and stacked them on top of each other. It made such a great impact and the best part, it was free. Doing the footwork was the hard part.

For the tables, I created luminaries using different Jack Daniels labels, and lit them with candles. Also on the tables were empty wine bottles with the number forty on them.

For the photo booth, I setup some fun props from an old frame, comic bubbles and silly mustaches on sticks. I also left some chalk on the table, so people can get creative with their bubbles. It was such a huge hit and we got some great photos out of it too.”
