Lavender “Better Together” Twin Girls Baby Shower
Oh my goodness, talk about two cute! Rachel of R&R Event Designs created this lovely Lavender “Better Together” Twin Girls Baby Shower for her expecting sister-in-law. To emphasize the theme throughout the party, Rachel came up with 7 things that are “better together” with corresponding baby gifts, like the ocean & the beach, where the twinsies got little swimsuits! Not only is the theme original and creative, but the decorations are equally as stunning… just look at those intricate party circles!

- Purple Tutu Diaper Cakes and Adorable “Twinsies Trivia” Party Sign
- AMAZING Watermelon Twin Stroller Fruit Display
- Mantle Better Together Banner + “Mommy’s Cravings” Food Sign
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Rachel…
Twinsies: Better Together is a baby shower I threw for my sister-in-law who is expecting twin girls, Evie & Lorelei. I wanted to do something unique yet relevant to twins. My sister gave my son the book “We Go Together” when his little brother was born last year. I instantly thought of it, since we read it everyday- and thought it was perfect for the twinsies and served as my inspiration…because some things are just better together.
I custom made all of the decorations with my business, R&R Event Designs. The mommy-to-be loves purple, and I wanted everything to serve a purpose. I came up with seven things that are “better together” and created stations throughout the shower that had presents for the twinsies. A few of these were: 1. ballerina & tutu (with tutus and bows for the babes), 2. hotty & toddy (since the parents-to-be are Ole Miss Alums- onesies and headbands), 3. ocean & beach (swimsuits for the babes), 4. Hugs & kisses (guests left with a bag of hugs and kisses)
All the decorations served a purpose. The pennant banner at the ballerina table and ‘E’ and ‘L’ on the mantle were hand sewn by me, and is the fabric for the girl’s bedding. So, it went home with the Mommy-to-be and is going in the nursery. That along with the bows that held up the banners, the headbands around the vases, the framed better together artwork that was displayed when guests walked in, and all the items at the stations- all served as fabulous decorations, but doubled as gifts for the girls.
At the shower guests could mark the date they predicted the twinsies would be born on a calendar, and there was a place for them to write wishes for the girls.
Desserts were creations of my friend Susan and her business, Flour Child Cakes. Not only was everything beautiful and exactly as I had envisioned in my head- but absolutely heaven-in-your-mouth delicious. So good I ordered extra cake balls to freeze for myself.I love when the ideas I have come to life- and that’s what happened with this shower

I LOVE your shower theme and printables! Would like consider selling a few of the designs for me to use at a shower that I am hosting?
Hi Meghan –
Rachel from R&R Event Designs created the printables – I’m not sure if she’ll see your question here, so you might want to reach out to her directly via her website. Hope that helps and good luck with the shower! :)
