(P.S. Does this “Shoppe” look familiar? It was repainted from this party!)

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Jenny

This Lemonade and Lollipops Birthday Party was created for twins, Josie and Teresa, who were tuning eleven. The hosts wanted the party to be fun and fresh so what better theme than lemonade and lollipops!

The focal point of the party was a lemonade stand. I had built a farm stand from a tutorial on Lil Luna for a previous party (apple of my eye) and decided to repaint it in this party’s lemon yellow and hot pink color scheme. The stand was filled with lemon desserts including pink lemonade cupcakes decorated with a gumball lollipops, lemon pudding pots, lemon meringue shots, and lemonade cookie stacks. Guests could also treat themselves to mini donuts, salt-water taffy, lemon heads and of course, lollipops. Each twin had their own cake, so that they could blow out their own candles. Huge 36” balloons lined the backyard.

Playing off of the neighborhood lemonade stand feel of the dessert table, Josie’s mom set up traditional yard games including Frisbee golf, volleyball and a bubble table. Kids were also treated to air brushed tattoos! The most popular activity by far was karaoke. The girls loved showing off their moves and singing talent. Guests took home tubes of gum balls in pink and yellow. For the printables, I used a bold yellow and white stripe with hot pink printing and lollipops.
