That is one amazing birthday boy photo-op (in a polka-dot suspender onesie sitting on his mustache piñata)! Birthday boy Landon is lucky to have mom, Shannon (+ her other half Rebecca) of the Petite Party Studio to create an amazing Little Man Mustache Bash! From the vibrant red crepe paper ruffles, polkadots and argyle patterns to the vintage style graphic posters and collaged black and white newsprint backdrop this first birthday has got me ‘staching to recreate my own!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Smash cake on blue suitcases with paper pennant flag bunting & “ONE” letter cutout toppers
  • “Lil Manwiches,” popcorn in red chevron bags, coleslaw & chips in striped cups
  • White shirts with suspenders + bowtie sugar cookies
  • Striped party straws with an attached mustache (doubling as photo booth props!)

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Rebecca

We picked the little man theme since he is SUCH A LITTLE MAN!! The invites drove our inspiration, suspenders, bow-ties, polkadots and argyle. The backdrop was made from vintage style newsprint paper that we layered on poster board with modge podge. We then used ruffled streamers to border the party posters and welcome sign. Mustaches were attached to striped party straws tied to rootbeer bottles with twine and doubled as photo props. We “stached” mustache lollipops in chevron bags that housed the utencils.  We served “man-wiches” {mini baked ham & cheese sliders} along with a BLT Salad, coleslaw and portioned cups of chips and dip. The cake was kept simple with printable numbers and a flag bunting. Cupcakes were dressed with cupcake toppers and wrappers to match. Shirt & suspender cookies and bow-tie cookies were given as favors along with polkadot gable boxes filled with themed goodies. Shannon dressed Landon in an adorable onesie that had suspenders and a bow-tie sewn on!!

Love this theme and am getting ready to use some of these same ideas this next week. For those who have asked, I found the suitcases on Amazon

    http://www.amazon.com/Cargo-Cool-Euro-Suitcases-Red/dp/B003TLNI6U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1396758734&sr=8-3&keywords=vintage+suitcase

and I found the cute white frames with a stand at Ikea.

Great job putting this theme together. I can’t wait for our little man’s birthday party this coming week. (He also happens to be a Landon)
