I just love reading about celebrations like this… where there’s so much love – and friendship – apparent in the details (as described below)! Sarah of Sarah Kathleen Photography sent in these beautiful images of her cousin Kelsey’s gorgeous Rustic Pink Baby Shower, which she photographed and collaborated on with Kelsey’s close friend, Danea of Danae Grace Events.

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Sarah…

When I talk to people about my cousin, Kelsey, I always have to add a disclaimer about how she isn’t JUST a cousin, she’s more of a sister. So when she broke the news that she was pregnant, I was beside myself and (being a photographer) immediately started dreaming about her maternity photo shoot and baby shower. Kelsey is the epitome of “beautiful inside and out”. It was such an honor to capture this precious time in her life.

I teamed up with another of Kelsey’s best friends, Danae, to style, create, and plan the baby shower. Danae is an incredibly talented event coordinator, so I never had any doubts that Kelsey’s shower would be 110% perfect. Despite the weather not being the sunny California day we were hoping for, which forced us to move the shower indoors — everyone had an amazing time and couldn’t stop talking about how impressed they were by every single detail. From the food to the photo booth, everything came together perfectly and I can’t imagine that day any other way (besides maybe a little sunshine)!!

This is what she had to say about her baby shower:

“My baby shower blew me out of the water. I was beyond impressed by the details and decorations. I have known both of the ladies that put on my shower for a very long time, so I thought I had some sort of idea of how it would turn out, boy was I wrong. They went above and beyond my expectations, down to every last detail from drinks to decor. I had to walk around my shower at least five times just so I won’t miss all of the little things they put together. Danae is so talented at what she does and a month later I am still thinking about my shower and how incredible everything turned out.

Even with last minute changes (weather) and a crazy pregnant women (me) these girls pulled it together to make what I think was the best baby shower in the world. I spent hours on pinterest and online looking at this fantastic showers, and I still believe in my heart the mine blew anything I saw out of the water. If you can dream it Danae can create it, and if you want to document anything special in your life Sarah Kathleen can capture it with her amazing photography and artistic background. I am so happy and feel beyond blessed to have had these wonderful women put together a memorable baby shower. “
