PARTY DETAILS, as told by Kristina

Cookies, cake and ponies! What else could a little girl want? Miss Caitie decided to celebrate her 7th birthday with a cowgirl theme and thus the “Lucky 7 Rodeo” was born! It was an incredibly windy day so this was styling improv! I wasn’t able to use so many things… they kept blowing away but the party must go on!!! And, most importantly everyone had a great time! With the playful patterns in pink and brown, this party had everything! I loved the idea of using a horseshoe throughout to bring in the “luck!” Gorgeous cookies (with the adorable red hair to match the guest of honor), chocolate pony pops and the cake were among the favorites! All guests “saddled up”  in their pink or brown bandanas and loved the sheriff badges! Caitie’s Mercantile was complete with little burlap bags with lots of fun goodies inside for the kids to enjoy! The kiddos enjoyed games like pop the pig, a horse piñata and of course the pony rides! I wrapped mason jars with different fabrics and twine and used baby’s breath to keep it simple and fun! I found a burlap memo board at a local store, added the pink “C” along with the ribbon and horseshoes – now Caitie has a fun piece to remember the party and place in her room!
