Most of us have enjoyed a classic or strawberry flavored margarita at one time or another, but how about a Smoky Grilled Grapefruit or Honeydew Rita?

There are so many variations of this popular drink – and seeing how tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo – it seems like the perfect time to explore some of these unique flavors…especially if you feel like shaking things up this week! Here are TEN creative ideas from ’round the web:

    I was thinking of inviting my girlfriends over tomorrow night for a little Cinco de Mayo celebration but I’ve never made margaritas before. I can’t wait to try a couple of these! Thanks for sharing. :)

    You can also add a dash of orange juice and/or Cointreau to a standard margaritas to give it a little extra flavor. Even a splash of grenadine provides some extra color – but use just a little.

    Thrilled to have stumbled upon this. I’m hosting a Cinqo de Mayo themed party at my house and was looking for some yummy margarita recipes to make that would be slightly outside the norm and this sounds like an amazing assortment.
