Modern Bunny Bear Cookout Party

I am totally smitten with this adorable “Modern Bunny & Bear Cookout“! From the darling little bear and bunny characters woven throughout to the DIY birthday hats and mini treat towers, this celebration is packed with charming ideas for a sweet birthday celebration.

The party was designed & styled by KaLice Events, who incorporated creative treats and  crowd pleasers like build-your-own hot dog & hamburger stations served up in hot pink burger baskets! Individual servings of gold fish, fruit loops & heart shaped marshmallows were dished out in miniature paper cups and cupcake liners… super cute presentation and perfect portions for the kiddos! Read on for LOTS more adorable pics + all the “smiling” details…

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Katie

“A client asked us to design a party for her girl’s 2nd birthday. Her daughter loves outdoor and therefore, mommy had suggested a cookout party for her. We have used her favorite colors green and pink and we incorporated yellow in the party theme as well.

Party Foods & Activity

The venue was at the gazebo by the pound in their neighborhood. We are big fans of HWTM and thought we could start planning this birthday party with HWTM Summer BBQ ideas. The food includes hotdogs, hamburgers, potato salad, chips, etc. Each guest was provided with a pink burger stand basket with yellow liner to create their own burger or hotdog with their favorite condiments and sides. At the end, kids went off to feed the geese by the pond and had a blast.

Dessert Table

Each guest was treated with a cupcake and we also designed a giant cupcake for the birthday girl! The rest of the desserts are the birthday girl’s favorite snacks: Rice Crispy Treats, Cereals, Goldfish crackers, marshmallows, lollipops and more. The Rice Crispy Treats flags are made out of our favorite Japanese Washi tape and lollipop sticks. The client provided us a Happy Birthday banner from Anders Ruff and we were able to incorporate it to the dessert table.

Favors

Each favor bag was filled with fun toys like bubbles, cute eraser & pencils, and more. Each kid also got to pick out the goodies to fill up their treat bags. Cookies and other sweets were individually packaged with cute bunny & bear clear bags and they were sealed to keep the freshness, so that the kids can enjoy them later.”
