I love this website. it give so much of inspiration to me. i am from the Netherlands and we don’t give big parties like you guys in the states, but i love it and i also do parties like that for my son. he will be 2 in september and i always want to make stunning and sweet things for kids. My daughter Penelope is absolutely obsessed with candy making! She takes my phone and watches videos on youtube of people making candy, she found them all by herself and it’s so sweet watching her watch them and describe what is being done. She is always in the kitchen with me, asking me to stir and flip things. She just loves anything to do with making food, especially candy. I just know she would be beyond thrilled with a candymaking book, whisk, and rolling pin, she would seriously be the happiest little girl EVER!

I would love to win this book for a few reasons. First, my daughter (age 3) has recently become very interested in helping me in the kitchen AND she’s recently interested in candy. I would love this book! Our house is know as the kid house we always have extra kids over and are looking for things to do with them. I would love to win this book because I have recently launched my candy buffet and favors business, and while my kids have decided to be my official candy tasters, this book would allow them to understand what I do on a whole other level. I can just see the candy craft partyieswe can put together, well, together.
I would love to win for many reasons but most importantly for my 3 little kitchen helpers. My kiddos love to cook and bake up new desserts and treats. My middle son is the self proclaimed taste tester and my little girl is planning for our mommy daughter dessert shop and she is only 6. My oldest is the leader and keeps everything moving. This would be an amazing book to have and have them take charge in the kitchen with new ideas.

I have a love for candy, children and cookbooks. I would like to continue the tradition of working together in the kitchen that I shared with my sons by now enjoying kitchen time with my beautiful grand daughter. As many mentioned below – My two daughters {luv} to cook with us now. My husband's mum got them interested. Every time she visits from England they make "Lemon Pudding". And it is not American style pudding. It is so delicious. We have some of our own yummy treats we make too so this book would help add more "style" and fun to these moments….. I am sure!
