If you’re a longtime reader, than you may remember waaaay back in the day when I helped put together an Operation Shower event here in San Diego with a modern-meets-rustic “Sunshine Farms” theme. Well, fast forward to today, and I’m so excited to share the UPDATED twist on this theme with you!

When OS decided to use this theme again for an event in Atlanta this past fall, I thought it was about time for the paper collection to get a little makeover first. :) So I spiffed up the original designs a bit and created some playful new signage with phrases like “About to Hatch” and “It’s a BABY, Ya’ll!“. Then, true to form, Operation Shower & their incredibly talented volunteer vendors worked their magic on adorable matching decorations and desserts. The result was this amazing celebration for 30 deserving military moms, and all I can say is… YA’LL, it turned out SUPER SWEET! ;)

DECOR HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

• Rag tie fabric garlands on the chairs + a colorful bandana-and-doily dessert table garland
• Festive centerpieces with chalkboard rooster silhouettes & darling plush chickens
• Modern farm scene cake (LOVE!) + vibrant & colorful hand-painted farm cookies
• Boxed lunches with gingham napkins + “Raised with Love” drink flags
• Stamped burlap table runners, spilled veggie baskets, & “fresh picked” farm florals
