New “Party in a Jar” Book {Craft + Party + Giveaway!}
For the past several years, it seems the party industry has had a love affair with the humble little jar – from pretty mason jar drinks and upcycled centerpieces to favor/gift jars filled with all kinds of tasty treats. That’s why the {brand new!} book I’m going to tell you about today is just so wonderfully appropriate…
And listen up, moms, because while Party in a Jar is cute enough to be admired by anyone that loves all things creative & cute, author Vanessa Rodriguez Coppoloa (from SeeVanessaCraft.com) penned it especially with the little ones in mind! It’s filled with 16 Kid-Friendly Projects for parties, holidays, & special occasions. Here’s a peek at one of my favorites… I mean, what’s not to love about a project called “Grass Hair Funny Face“, right?! ;)
Another project that jumped out at me during my first flip-through of the book is the “Peanut Butter Piggy Bank Jar” on page 38 – talk about major cute factor! All of the projects in Party in a Jar are written “recipe style”, and one very cool thing is that most can double as both a party activity and a take-home gift/favor.
Also, these crafts don’t actualy require a party – they’re also great homemade gift ideas for holidays (check out the “Pumpkin Play Dough Jars” and “Snowman Candle Jars“, for example) – and of course you can always just use them as fun projects for keeping your little ones busy!
