Need some ideas for pirate-themed party drinks? This fabulous Pirate Drink Station styled by Jen Carver of Banner Events is packed with visual inspiration!
Even if you’re not able to build a cool wooden plank station/backdrop yourself (and don’t worry… me, either! 😬), the ideas featured ON the station are equally creative and totally doable. From “Sea Water” bottled water to blue Caribbean Sea Punch to an artsy garland made from patterned paper, scroll down for a closer look at the clever details…
Bottled Pirate Punch
This simple blue punch looks great every way it’s styled! You can see it in the embellished drink dispenser above, and again on the kids’ table below, served in vintage glass bottles with printable “Pirate Punch” labels and *Parrrty* straws:
Sea Water (Bottled Water)
It’s amazing what a cute label and some twine can do for simple water bottles. 😉
A quick note on the paper for water bottles:
I’ve tried printing labels on sticker paper and always end up going back to my favorite white card stock. The colors come out more vibrant, and it’s easier to adjust the position and straighten the placement. If you pre-chill the water bottles, you don’t need to stress about using waterproof paper and ice chests.
Caribbean Sea Punch
Styled drink dispensers are another great way to serve this blue punch! I love the pirate bandana at the top, too:
A few more creative takeaways from this drink station:
- the use of a red fishing net. This color really pops against wood!
- the printable welcome sign customized to work as a “Beverages” sign
- awesome pirate ship wood cut out (from Lauren of Ten23 Designs), inspired by the pirate ship design in the printables. I can totally envision the colorful wooden sails customized with the age or name of the guest of honor too! 🤔
- large pennant garland made from patterned paper and twine (an easy way to add a big punch of color!)
- iconic Coca-Cola design on the wooden crate used as a riser for the drink dispenser
Also – here’s a preview of the kids’ table, which I’ll post more on separately. There are so many wonderful ideas in this Pirate Birthday Party, I didn’t want them to get lost in one giant post. 😉
