Little Margot has the cutest collection of Blabla Dolls that she absolutely adores (a sentiment my daughter and I share too!), so for her first birthday Lucinda of Portraits By Lucinda & Margot’s mom Lauren put together the most adorable Blabla Doll Party Theme! PARTY DETAILS, as told by Lucinda…

Margot Eloise’s first birthday party was inspired by the special knitted Blabla dolls she’s received over the past year. The charming toys were baby gifts, Christmas gifts, Easter bunny gifts, and “just because” gifts… and she adores them all (and so does mom)! The fun palette and cute striped wardrobe of the classic dolls made a colorful backdrop for an authentic celebration! The decor was simple, sweet, and vibrant. Margot’s friends enjoyed caprese skewers, fruit kabobs, hummus and vegetables, sugar cookie fruit pizzas, cake and ice cream, strawberry lemonade, iced tea, and izzie soda. For party favors, guests filled up bags of sorbet colored candy, and the kids took home polka dot pinwheels and bubbles! Activities included croquet in the backyard, relaxing in adirondack chairs while sipping iced beverages through vintage paper straws, and of course watching Margot’s cake smash!
