Love, Set, Match… PARTY! If you “love” preppy and colorful parties, then this French Open inspired tennis party is the perfect “match” for you!

Katie of Petite Social styled this playful pink and green party with exquisite detail. Some of my favorite sweet elements include: the “Racket Candy” (rock candy), French Open macarons, and tennis ball cake pops – which doubled as cupcake toppers! The stunning Eiffel tower adorned cake makes a bold statement as the centerpiece and definitely sets the tone for this creative French Open Tennis Party.

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Katie

My client had already selected the activity and party venue for her daughter’s upcoming 6th birthday party but contacted me to take over 3 weeks before the event.

To ensure I had a cohesive and coordinated theme, I we decided to go with a preppy prink and lime green party, and incorporated The French Open by french influenced dessert menu.

Anders Ruff (printables) and Two Sugar Babies (fondant toppers) saved the day by taking on a custom-order and turning it around for me within a few days! Everything else fell into place after that.

This was such a fun party to plan.  I loved the fun bright colors and knew that I wanted everything to be vibrant, clean, modern, and fresh.  Going with the tennis and french elements, I created a dessert menu to include tennis ball cake pops, tennis gum balls, french macarons, french madelines, and my absolute favorite, a 2 tiered centerpiece cake with eiffel tower with bouncing tennis balls, i.e. The French Open.

This party was for a 6 year old, but can easily be created for adults. And, mix it up with navy and lime green and throw a tennis bash for boys, too!
