Preppy Pancakes & Pajamas Party
If you give a cute little girl a pajama party… she will want it all in pink + a pancake breakfast to go with it! Jennifer of Jennifer V Designs whipped up a delicious Preppy Pancakes & Pajama Party for her daughter’s 4th birthday. Inspired by pink and navy, combined with chevron and polka dots, everything else seemed to fall perfectly into place!
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
- Adorable pajama frosted sugar cookies!
- Bacon & Eggs (pretzels paired with candy!) and Fruit Loop treats
- Birthday cake with fabulous pink fondant ruffles
- Tulips in glass vases with Fruit Loops & pink gum balls as centerpieces
- Cereal strand necklace making activity!
PARTY DETAILS, as told by Jennifer…
I had the honor of working with Julie Marie Portraits for my first styled shoot (and first feature on HWTM) debuting the Honeybee Gender Reveal Collection.
From the moment I met Julie I knew we were going to click. She had impeccable style and a keen eye for detail. Unfortunately for me, Julie’s family relocated so this was our first and last photo shoot together. However, we have remained in contact and I had the honor of working with her equally as talented twin sister, Jennifer, on her daughter’s 4th birthday party.
Jennifer chose to customize the popular Pancakes and Pajamas theme to incorporate more preppy elements and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Armed with the classic yet stylish navy and pink color palette, Jennifer and I worked together to design the perfect party designs for her little princess.

I love this party….such a cute idea!
Hi! Was this a sleep over or a morning party? And did she invite only girls?
Hi Amanda!
I don’t know a lot about the party itself, but I did the pajama pants that were used for favors for the kids. I know it was boys and girls that were invited and participated because I did pink and white dots for the girls and Navy blue for the boys.
I have done a few more Pancakes and Pajama parties since this one and they are always super cute!
I love this idea for a birthday party. I'm saving it on Pinterest so I can come back to it once my daughter is old enough!

Adorable – Iove the tulip and cereal centerpieces. How did you keep the tulips in water inside the cereal jars?
Any idea what candy was used for the bacon and eggs??
what were the eggs made out of for the bacon and eggs snacks?
