Irene Sarantakos of Cake 5 Sweet Designs celebrated her daughter’s 3rd birthday with a Beauty and the Beast Party inspired by Princess Belle herself! Iconic roses, royal crowns and teapots are sprinkled throughout, just as in the movie, and if you haven’t seen it, this is one Disney Classic that you’ve gotta see! (And for more inspiration, check out this post.)

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Macaron Wands, Pink Petite Fours & Sparkly Cake Pops
  • Thoughtful “Chipped” Teacup Cupcakes and a pretty yellow tutu skirt for the birthday girl!
  • Mrs. Potts Cake Balls, Framed Belle Silhouette and A Princess Cake

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Irene

My company, Cake 5 Sweet Designs, baked and designed this table for my daughters 3rd birthday. We chose Beauty and the Beast, Princess Belle, theme because she loves the movie. I wanted to add pieces of the movie throughout the table. I started by finding a great fabric for the backdrop. Spray painted the frame to match the colors. I used a silhouette of belle from Anders Ruff, and framed it.

We baked a princess theme cake, created some macaron pops princess wands, bling cake pops with edible glitter, Mrs. Pots cake balls, some shimmer gum balls, rock candy, teapot sugar cookies, petit fours, and cupcakes in a chipped teacup cupcake wrapper. We also created some homemade candy kabobs with matching favor tag for guests to take home. The printables were from dollhouse paperie, and silhouette from Anders Ruff.

The birthday girl is wearing an outfit mostly from Dreamspun kids, minus the top that I bought and ironed on “Princess”. Guest had a great time jumping in an inflatable castle bounce house, and creating their very own tiaras to take home.

Really beautiful! I love everything!! I was curious what you did to color the rose with gold glitter cake pops. They just look different than a basic red.
