This chic “Chanel Inspired” Bridal Shower sent in by Lucia|Paul Design is full of beautiful, striking details like towering black table vases filled with fluffy white hydrangea, linen napkins embellished with broaches & pearls, and an amazing “Chanel cake” complete with quilted handbag, pearls, and a bottle of COCO Parfum!

One of my very favorite details of this shower is the creative use of the bride-to-be’s first intial on the stationery accents… it’s displayed in the same “mirrored image” style as the Chanel logo.

“Dr. Karen Fields, a Chicago-based bride, hired us (Lucia|Paul Design) to help execute her dream Bridal Shower and Wedding in her home state of Michigan. Karen is the type of client that every vendor wants to work with…classy, fabulous, and someone that gives a direction for the event then allows the professionals to use their imagination. So when Karen told us that she wanted a Coco Chanel Inspired bridal shower, we knew just what we wanted to do!

Anna Richardson, Executive Planner + Designer, presented the concept to Dooby Design Group, and together they developed the overall concept to convey a sophisticated and elegant style that would be carried throughout all of the décor details.

The “Chanel” elements were achieved by using the classic black & white colors with accents of pearls, antique broaches, ribbon and of course the signature Chanel quilting.

The polished look continued through the decorative paper elements & napkins, and the long family style tables were adorned with tall black vases overflowing with bunches of white hydrangeas.

The place settings had striking black chargers and distinctive black wine glasses.

Of course, no shower would be complete without an incredible dessert table!

This beautiful table was also created by Dooby Design Group. They incorporated the black and white colors with sprinkles of pink and added just the right pop of color that we needed to complete this modish look.
