REAL PARTIES: Cowboy Baby Shower
This Backyard Barbeque Baby Shower that Beth Helmstetter hosted at a residence in Shawnee, Kansas is super creative, inviting, and full of down-home country FUN!
Guests sat on pillow-topped hay bales, mini bouquets of white daisies were lined up neatly on vintage cowboy print linens, invitations were handmade on pieces of wood, and adorable mini pies were served up for desserts…
Read on for lots more photos and party details from Beth!
Invitations (pictured at top):
DIY project using pieces of craft wood from Michaels and Iron On Transfers. I designed the invite in photoshop and then ironed it on to the wood.
Food:
We served Kansas City Style BBQ which was not only appropriate for the theme but budget friendly. For dessert we served miniature homemade pies.
Beverages: Strawberry lemonade, Iced Tea and Old Fashioned bottled sodas (Coca-Cola, Crush, Root Beer & Cream Soda). Mason jars were pre-filled with drinking straws that read “howdy”.
Flowers: I arranged the flowers myself using all daisies in mason jars
Linens: Vintage Cowboy print from La Tavola
Seating: We rented hay bales with large pillows on top
Favors: Pashminas and candy presented in muslin sacks
More fun decor: wooden letters and vintage cowboy books!

Bubble gum. They have a little vintage candy section and I think they have them all year round.”
