Reindeer Pail Holiday Cookie Gifts

Quick Jump To » Comments

Rudolph may have the shiniest nose, but these sweet reindeer pails boast the cutest “antlers”! 🦌 Fashioned from decorative paper straws, the sky’s the limit when it comes to patterns and colors. You can find tons of fun paper straw options on Amazon or at Target, Michaels, JoAnn, etc.

How to Make The Reindeer:

  1. Cut one straw in half to form the main part of each reindeer antler, then hot glue 2 smaller pieces of straws to either side, as shown in the images.
  2. Secure the antlers to the pail with tape or hot glue, then add paper ears, “sleepy” eyes, and a nose. You can use this printable template for the ears and nose, or just freehand cut the pieces from colored card stock.

Cookies + Gift Tags

Fill the finished pail with your favorite holiday cookies or other homemade treats! (These would be really cute for “Reindeer Feed” trail mix, too!)

I used gingerbread cookies here (using Krusteaz Gingerbread mix) and decorated them with white chocolate covered pretzels and nonpareils. Press a pretzel into the center of each cookie while it’s still warm + sprinkle with nonpareils.

For the finishing touch, add a printable “North Pole” or “Magic of the Season” gift tag.

Happy holiday baking & gifting! 😊🎄
