PARTY DETAILS as told by Kirstin

Little Miss Josie’s two favorite things in the whole world are her stuffed bunny and grilled cheese, so a Snow Bunny themed first birthday party (complete with a grilled cheese bar) seemed the perfect way to celebrate her turning one.

The mostly white palette, with little touches of mint and petal pink, was the perfect backdrop for this snow bunny party. Soft bunnies dotted the dessert table and hot cocoa bar, while snowflakes and shimmer added a little touch of winter. The bunny graphics, made in house, were also sprinkled throughout the decor.

The menu included a grilled cheese bar with suggestions for gourmet grilled cheese ideas, homemade tomato soup and bunny shaped mac ‘n cheese as well as a whole lineup of winter-y treats, a cake covered in pink and white swirls, and a bunny shaped smash cake. A hot cocoa station added an extra dose of cozy.

Party ‘activities’ were very simple — a sheer white tent filled with fluffy white pillows was the perfect spot to curl up with a pile of bunny rabbit books. Also, bunny party blowers, ‘snow bunny wands’ and ‘jack frost sticks’ kept the young guests entertained for hours on end!

The favors, wooden rolling bunny rabbits (from SimpleGreat on Etsy), were a gigantic hit!

What a seriously fabulous way to ring in a new year for Miss Josie (and her bunny)!
