Seat belts, check! Landing gear, check! Party hats, check! This little birthday boy is ready for takeoff! Jennifer Yun of MayDetails Studio whipped up this Adorable “Soaring High” Airplane Birthday Party for her son. I love the bright color palette, map details & custom printables with a picture of the birthday boy in the pilot’s seat! This party is such a great example of how printables can take something from good to ‘Wow!’

PARTY DETAILS as told by Jennifer…

This party was for a little boy who loves airplanes!

The inspiration for the party came from the red and blue toy airplane pictured, that the birthday boy spends countless hours playing with. From that, I started creating, adding Benjamin as the pilot into the design for a fun and customized look.

I really wanted to add the map texture, and achieved this using maps in the backdrop behind the customized poster and accenting the cupcake toppers.

The lovely cake featured clouds, and pilot Ben was used as the cake topper.

For the favors, I made a ‘Baggage Claim’ sign accompanied by little ‘baggage’ boxes filled with chocolate chip cookies and a ‘Thank you for soaring with me’ tag. We also had a ‘Jet Fuel Station’ of water bottles and ‘In Flight Peanuts’ packages as well.

I loved designing and styling this fun airplane theme for my little boy who loves everything airplanes.
