PARTY DETAILS, as told by Thetis

My client’s son is a huge Curious George fan so of course we had to have a super cool circus theme party  complete with a vintage popcorn maker, clowns and face painters! The colour pallete was blue, yellow and red as we wanted to keep with the curious george main colours.

The kids tables were covered in a red & white striped runners. Each place setting with a handmade party hat, mini glass drink bottles, and some simple table decorations of juggling balls. The space held about 30 children so we had to not overdo the table area.

Guests enjoyed a dessert table complete with a 2 tiered circus cake, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, toffee apples and a lolly buffet. We used a canopy stand to which gave a real carnival effect.

We had 2 roving clowns who also did some balloon twisting, a face painter and tattoo artist, and even a vintage popcorn machine which the guests loved!

Each guest took home a personalised packet of fairy floss which we had placed on the lemonade stand for guests to take home as they left.

The room was decorated with balloons, circus draping from the ceiling, a lemonade stand, and the tattoo and face painting booths. We had a small area to work with and over 35 guests so we wanted to save as much space for the children and parents, plus the entertainers.
